If you are a parent and count on being alerted to school delays and closings by Lake’s Emergency Alert system, you want to make sure that your contact information is correct.
Lake Local Schools uses Alert Solutions (formerly PowerAnnouncement) as its emergency alert system. As a parent of a Lake student, you are able to log into your child’s Parent Portal and update the contact information and type of alerts you wish to receive. If you have not created your Parent account and edited this information, you will receive alerts at whatever phone numbers are on file in our records. This may or may not be how you prefer to receive messages, so you are encouraged to customize and update these settings.
