What Is Safety Town?
Safety Town is a five-day summer safety program for children in the Lake School District who will be entering Kindergarten in the Fall. Children will learn many aspects of safety and how to make wise choices when faced with potentially dangerous situations.
Experienced teachers, Lake and Walbridge Policemen, Firemen, and other specialized professionals will teach the children using fun, age-appropriate activities.
Safety Town will be held at:

August 6-10, 2012
9:00 am to 11:30 am
On Friday, there will be an award ceremony and picnic for families.
Registration can be done by completing a registration form, (Available online, at the Walbridge Elementary office until May 22, 2012 or at the Lake Township Police Dept.). Children must be five years old by August 1st to register. The deadline to register is June 30th.

The fee for Safety Town is $15 per child. This fee helps cover the cost of snacks, educational materials and picnic on the last day.
