Welcome to the 2026-2027 School Year!

Welcome back to another incredible school year! We are in the final stages of preparing our buildings and district grounds for the return of our students and families.  There is a distinct energy that fills our hallways each fall that brings a sense of renewed purpose, excitement, and endless possibilities. As your Superintendent, I am honored to work for this district and I am thrilled to welcome our returning families back to campus and extend a warm greeting to those new Flyers joining our district for the very first time.

As always, our absolute priority this year is keeping our students at the center of every decision we make. We are deeply committed to providing the best possible educational experience by nurturing safe, inclusive, and innovative learning environments. Whether in our classrooms, on our athletic fields, or within our arts programs, we want every student to feel valued, inspired, and motivated to achieve their highest potential. A new school year naturally brings new challenges, from navigating changing academic standards to adapting to an ever-evolving world. However, we view these challenges not as obstacles, but as powerful opportunities for growth. We are committed to the “4 C’s”: Collaboration, Consistency, Communication, and Commitment to our work.  We absolutely value the partnership with our community and look forward to a most successful year. Education is a journey that requires effort and adaptability. I have absolute confidence that our exceptional educators, resilient students, and dedicated staff are fully equipped to meet any hurdle with confidence and grace.

We cannot do this vital work alone. True educational excellence relies on a strong, transparent partnership with our community. Good communities make good schools and good schools make good communities. By aligning our efforts with local families, businesses, and organizations, we create a tremendous support network for our students. Together, we build the foundation that allows our schools to thrive and our children to succeed. This year, we will bring our core purpose to life every single day through our shared district mission: “Together with our community, we empower all learners to soar with resilience, lead with integrity and embrace every opportunity”.  By leaning on one another, we will ensure that our mission is more than just words on a page but rather it will be the driving force behind our work to leave a lasting impact on the future.
