Lake Elementary School kindergarten students will be on a staggered start for fall 2019. One-third of the kindergarten students will attend on each of the first three days of school. On August 21st, children with last names beginning with the letters A-I attend. On August 22nd, children with the last names J-R attend. Finally, on August 23rd, children with the last names S-Z attend. All kindergarten children attend schools beginning Monday, August 26th. The staggered start will allow the teachers to get to know the students and make it easier on the children at they begin their educational journey.
Welcome to Lake Elementary School, home of the Flyers! I am honored to serve as principal to our youngest Flyers in preschool through fourth grade. At Lake Elementary School, we strive to create an atmosphere that promotes rigorous learning and a place where children feel welcome and safe. Weekly, students attend technology, music, art, physical education and library. Our school wide positive behavior plan encourages students to be respectful, be responsible, and be ready.
Working with families as partners is important to us. A strong connection between home and school is a great way to support learning. Your participation in your child’s education is appreciated and it will positively affect your child’s success and enthusiasm at school.
Please reach out to us if you have questions or concerns. Thank you for visiting our website and for choosing Lake Elementary School.
