LAKE HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA CLUB

Grades: 8-12         Fee: $20

Description: Drama club members learn about many facets of Theatre. Members also have the opportunity to assist with the Theatre Department productions in a variety of ways. Students may audition for the productions, volunteer to stage manage the productions, assist with set, costume, prop, light, or set design, or help with ushering and concessions on performance nights.

Activities & Events: The Theatre Department produces two productions throughout the school year including, but not limited to: a Fall Play and the Spring Musical. The Drama Club also works to produce our annual Talent Show that is open for participation of all members, and the rest of the student body and faculty. (In the past, The Drama Club has participated in a local Haunted House and at Face Painting events!)                    

Location: The District Auditorium & Choir Room                    

Procedures for Joining: Students join the Drama Club by attending the first official meeting of the school year, parent permission, and paying the $20 Membership Dues. Dues will be utilized to cover fees, purchase materials for workshops, gatherings, Talent Show Team Feed and our annual Drama Club T-Shirt.

LAKE MIDDLE SCHOOL DRAMA CLUB

Grades: 5-7         Fee: $20

Description: Drama club members assist with the Theatre Department productions in a variety of ways. Students may audition for the MS production and LMS theatre troupe, volunteer to stage manage the MS production, assist with set, costume, prop, light, or set design, or help with ushering and concessions on performance nights. Select students will also be permitted to audition for the HS Musical in the Spring if younger cast members are required.         

Activities & Events:The Middle School Drama Club will hold monthly meetings. The MS Drama Club, with the assistance of the HS Drama Club Board members, will work to produce a yearly Middle School Talent Show that would be open for participation for all members of the student body and faculty.
