Seating for Parents of Graduates

If your student is graduating with the class of 2018 you are invited to sit in the parent section closest to the action.  Unfortunately we only have enough room in this section for each graduate to have two parents sit there.  You are welcome to sit in one of the other three seating areas if you prefer that instead.  You do not need to register to sit in a non-reserved area.  However, if you plan to sit it in the reserved parent section, please register HERE.

Calling Students in Absent

Lake Local Schools uses the Safe Arrival system to help track students and notify parents when a student is absent.  You must report your student’s absence the Safe Arrival system prior to 7:45 the day of absence to avoid being called by the system.  I highly encourage all parents to authenticate their account so you can use the Safe Arrival app.  The app is very easy to use, especially if you have more than one student in more than one building on campus.  The letter with Safe Arrival details can be found under the documents and forms link.

HS Drop Off/Pick Up

If you drop off or pick up your student before and/or after school, we need your help.  With so many cars moving in the parking lot, safety becomes a concern for everyone.  Whether dropping off or picking up we highly encourage you to use the parking spaces and park your car long enough for your students to get in our out.  By doing this you are out of the traffic flow and other drivers do not need to wait for you and your student.

In the afternoon, we try to get all traffic moving in the same direction.  Please exit toward the flagpoles and out the main drive.

PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE CURB IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING OR IN THE MAIN DRIVE.  This limits the ability of other drivers to safely enter and exit the parking lot.

Grade Cards Online

In an effort to conserve resources we have tried to do more and more online.  Parents have the ability to follow their student’s grade online at all times through the PowerSchool parent portal.  You can link to this under the parent tab on the district website.  If you cannot access your account, please contact the office.
