Parent Information

Payments

All Food Service account payments are to be made online at https://www.mymealtime.com/ or payment can be turned in when the student arrives to school in the morning.  Deposit boxes are available in the Middle School Office and at the High School Office (Deposits should be placed in an envelope with students name noted on it).  Elementary deposits are to be given to teacher in the morning to be sent down to food service in the morning.  No deposits accepted through the meal service line. All monies received will be applied to the student’s food service account, no change will be given.  

Parent/Guardians may check balances for food service accounts online and Parent/Guardians are able to sign up for an email notification when their students account balance is low. 

Breakfast Prices $1.50/ 30 cents reduced, free to those who qualify.
Lunch Prices $2.35 Elementary $2.60/$2.75 Middle School and High School 40 cents reduced, free to those who qualify.

National School Lunch and Breakfast Free/Reduced

If your student received free/reduced benefits by determination of a National School Lunch and Breakfast Application for the previous year, for benefits to continue for this school year a completed application must be processed and a qualifying determination for the household done before benefits will continue.  This is required each school year.  Meal benefits are not extended without proper documentation and benefits do not apply to past charges.  For athletic and Instructional fee waiver consideration, a completed National School Lunch and Breakfast Application AND Eligibility Release Form for the CURRENT school year must be completed, processed and qualifying eligibility determined.

Charge Policy

Lake Local Schools Charge policy for food service accounts will allow students to charge the amount of three meals.  No charges are permitted on ala carte items.  Repayment of any charged meals is expected the next school day. Any questions concerning student food service accounts please contact Chris Wilson.

Students with Special Dietary Needs

Substitutions or modifications in school meals will be made for children whose disability restricts their diet in accordance with USDA regulations 7 CFR Part 15b.  An Evaluation Form MUST be completed (listing suitable substitutes AND items to be omitted) and signed by Physician and Parent.  No substitutions or modifications will be made until completed evaluation form is received.  These forms must be updated each school year, and can be found in the resources menu on the main food services page.
